Hello! I’m Amanda Fleck, born and raised in Brazil and currently based in São Paulo/ Curitiba
My relationship with photography began early, during my teenage years. But it was after moving to New York for an exchange program that this passion truly grew and turned into a profession. Since then, I’ve been studying, photographing, and developing my visual perspective and approach to the art of storytelling.
My style is natural and spontaneous. I love photographing people in an authentic way, without forced poses. To me, a good image should have presence, movement, and connection.
I mainly work with digital photography, but I also shoot on 35mm film and Polaroid. I’ve also been exploring other formats, including drone photography.
My background includes courses in digital photography, visual arts, and visual creativity in New York, through the Towson University English Language Center and the Visual Arts Program at Bunker Hill Community College.
